I began subbing in Meade County in 2005 after moving back from Texas. I continued to work as a substitute teacher through 2007, while completing my Masters in LBD. I was employed for the Henderson County School district for two years as an autism teacher and loved every minute of it. I moved back to the Meade County area in 2009 and accepted the position as the FMD teacher at Irvington Elementary.

Hello everyone, My name is Laura Scobee and I have been teaching since 2005. I love working with children. I was a professional nanny for many families and was able to travel to the Cayman Islands with one family. After many years working with the various families I wanted to continue to teach children in a larger capacity and with the help of one family I was able to enroll in college will working to earn my degree in Business. As I returned home from Texas, I began working as a substitute and working on my Master's and then the Rank 1 in Moderate to Severe Disabilites.

I have lived in Florida, Texas and Kentucky,  but have called Meade County home for most of my life. I do not have any children but my family is very important to me. My parents have been married for 51 years and I have two brothers and a sister and neices and nephews, we love getting together and spending as much time together as we can.

My interests are singing and traveling.
